The new Vietnamese passport is accepted in the UK.

"Visa applicants and passengers (including those in route) should ensure they are fully informed of, and periodically verify, the position on acceptance of these documents for all their destinations," it stated in a Facebook post. "The U.K. currently continues to recognize the new Vietnamese passport ." Prior to the U.K., France declared last week that it would accept the new Vietnamese passport and grant bearers visas "until further notice." However, the French Embassy in Vietnam advised those with new Vietnamese passports to omit their intended length of stay or planned transit through Germany.
